Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College has been a haven for enthusiastic learners for six decades. College was founded on the principles of Vaishnavism, with the sole purpose of imparting value based quality education and empowering the youth. The College has seen a phenomenal growth in terms of revamped curriculum to cater to the specific needs of the student community. Outstanding performance of the students in academics and extension activities has enabled the college to emerge as one of the premier institutions of higher learning.
About The Department
The undergraduate programme in Biochemistry was started in the year 1995. The department was upgraded to a postgraduate department in 1998 and as research department in 2015 with state of the art facilities. The primary objective of the department is to develop and strengthen the "industry-academia" relationship, in order to make the students industry-ready besides imparting value-based education. The department also facilitates interactions with eminent experts from industries and hospitals.
About Neuberg Crew
The "NEUBERG CREW" is a student run club of the Department of Biochemistry D. G. Vaishnav college dedicated to advancing the interests of the undergraduates & postgraduates of the department. Club activities are organized regularly to encourage students in research, academics, internship opportunities, career opportunities and intercollegiate events. The crew was instituted in 2018. The crew looks at the application of concepts and methods in the field of life sciences. Members are also introduced to internships, conferences, webinars, professional guest lectures, Intercollegiate event - Cellutions etc. Neuberg Crew was registered under VIPNET in the year 2022 under the Reg Number: VP-TN0148
